Autosinsider.com Sneak Peek
2007 Porsche 911 Turbo
By Paul Lienert / Special to The Detroit News
The latest in a series of new models from Porsche, the redesigned 911 Turbo, is expected to make its world debut in the spring at the Geneva show. The 2007 model follows the introduction in recent months of the 911 Cabriolet and the release last summer of the new 911 coupe.
The 911 Turbo (code name: 997) will get a bump in horsepower and top speed, according to the European press, and will be fitted with a new four-wheel-drive system.
The new turbo will reach European customers next spring, and shortly after will go on sale at U.S. dealers. Look for the price to nudge $150,000 for the 911 Turbo S convertible.
