Autosinsider.com Sneak Peek
2007 Bentley Continental Convertible
By Paul Lienert / Special to The Detroit News
Volkswagen's British luxury-car subsidiary Bentley expects to add its third model, a convertible or "drophead" based on the Continental GT coupe, in mid- to late 2006. U.S. customers should see the first cars arriving at dealerships in model year 2007.
The soft-top edition of the Continental will be assembled, like the coupe and new Flying Spur sedan, at Bentley's facility in Crewe, England. The four-seat convertible is expected to share the Continental's twin-turbo 12-cylinder engine and most major chassis components.
Bentley isn't talking about a price yet, but stickers could start at over $200,000.
