For the first time in a quarter century, widespread declines in home values have triggered nearly across-the-board reductions in property assessments. Some of the area's wealthiest communities were hit the hardest, as well as some of the fastest growing.

Use the interactive application below to find the percentage change in your community's property values from 2007 to 2008 and compare it to other communities. To see all the communities in Livingston, Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties, don't enter any values in the form and click "Search." You can also select a county to see all communities in that county, or select a specific community.
