Seger insider to discuss new photo history book

Longtime Detroit music photographer Thomas Weschler will discuss the photo history book, "Travelin' Man: On the Road and Behind the Scenes with Bob Seger" (Wayne State University Press, $27.95) at 7 p.m. Thursday at Barnes & Noble, 3120 Fairlane Drive, Allen Park. Weschler, who wrote the book with music journalist Gary Graff, served as Bob Seger's road manager for several years in the 1970s, and the book is a backstage memoir and a mini-history of Seger's career during those years.
