Detroit -- When jazz musician George Benson performed at the Masonic Temple recently, a less sedate form of entertainment unfurled several floors above. Roller derby, a refugee of 1960s' Saturday morning television, is back in a big way, proponents say, with the number of leagues more than doubling in the past five years. - 11:27 am

Honda Motor Co. has the most fuel efficient fleet in the United States, followed closely by Hyundai Motor Co., the Environmental Protection Agency said Friday in releasing preliminary figures for 2009.

N'West prepares for WiFi takeoff

Review: 'New Moon' is just what 'Twilight' fans want -- unfortunately

Tom Long: A big bowl of adolescent romantic mush garnished with horror-lite action scenes and a rushed road trip, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" is a mess. But to be fair to director Chris Weitz and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, it is the mess "Twilight" fans were expecting and probably demanding.
