Young carjacker hits elderly victim a second time

Harper Woods -- Harper Woods police are on the trail of a teenager who carjacked the same 82-year-old victim twice over a 10-day period.
According to the HWPD, the first incident occurred at about 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 10 when two teenagers, one armed with a handgun, robbed the victim while he was standing in the driveway of his home in the 19000 block of Washtenaw.
The teen ordered the victim to the ground, and stole his wallet and car keys. Then the two teenagers drove off in the senior citizen's car, which was later recovered near Seymour and Salter in Detroit.

The victim was given a loaner car while his stolen car was being repaired. Then at about 4 p.m. Sunday, the victim was in his backyard tending his garden when the same armed teenager crept up on him and again stole his wallet, car keys and loaner car.
Police spotted the car about 30 minutes later with two occupants in the area of Troester and Brock, in Detroit. The suspects dumped the car and fled the scene.
The armed suspect is described as an African-American male, age 17-19, 5 foot 8 inches to 5 foot 10 inches tall with a thin build and light complexion.
Suspect two is described as an African-American male, age 17-19, 6 feet tall, medium complexion with a thin build.
