Ann Arbor -- Michigan starting center David Molk, who has missed the last four games after surgery to repair a broken foot, is expected to start against Penn State.
Molk went through the full-pads practice Tuesday and was a bit sore Wednesday, U-M coach Rich Rodriguez said before practice.
"The report today is he handled it (practice) well, and he's a little sore, but he came through it all well and should be fine for Thursday," Rodriguez said.

David Moosman, who had been playing center, would move back to right guard, and either Perry Dorrestein or Mark Huyge would start at right tackle.
Tailback Carlos Brown, who missed the last two games because of a concussion, practiced Tuesday, but Brandon Minor was limited because of a high ankle sprain.
"We've been handling that with caution with Brandon with the hopes he can play Saturday because we need him. In this game we need his physical presence," Rodriguez said.
Cornerback Boubacar Cissoko, suspended for a violation of team rules before the Iowa game two weeks ago, could be back for Penn State, Rodriguez said. Cissoko has been practicing with the team.
"It's day to day," Rodriguez said about Cissoko. "It really depends on the next couple days whether he plays on Saturday."
Rodriguez said Cissoko would not start even if he does play.
