Punch Andrews, longtime manager of Bob Seger, confirmed Monday that "Early Seger Vol. 1," a collection of vintage, pre-"Beautiful Loser" songs, three never-before released, will be released Nov. 24.
The CD will be available for a week at all Meijer's stores, then on Nov. 30, at bobseger.com (which currently has samples up).
Come January, the CD might find wider release, Andrews said.

There are 60-70 more unreleased, vintage Seger songs in the archive, and the rocker is having fun going through that for future releases.
As for all those Hideout singles like "East Side Story" that fans are clamoring to hear, Andrews laughed. "Maybe for Volume 2 we'll get to that."
