Swine flu vaccination clinic added for Saturday
Macomb County has added another swine flu vaccination clinic for high-priority groups Saturday, officials said. The county's Health Department is offering residents the intranasal and the injectable vaccine at a clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Freedom Hill County Park, 14900 Metropolitan Parkway between Schoenherr and Utica Road in Sterling Heights. City marks Veterans Day with Nov. 11 ceremony
The city will hold an 11 a.m. Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at its Parks and Recreation Center. The ceremony will include remarks from veteran and 41-A District Judge Steve Sierwaski, and a bugler and vocal performance. The center is at 40620 Utica between 18 Mile and Dodge Park Road.

Concert planned to honor boy killed in car accident
The family of a boy killed in a car accident two years ago will host an all-ages concert from 1-9 p.m. Sunday to raise money for martial arts instruction scholarships for needy kids. The concert is being organized to honor Vincent Ocelnik. Vincent died two years ago after taking his father's car for a joy ride and crashing into a tree. The eighth-grader was a member of the World College of Martial Arts in Eastpointe. Admission to the concert at The Ritz, 24300 Hoover, is $5.
