Lions: Notebook
Kevin Smith, Calvin Johnson look ready

Allen Park -- Lions running back Kevin Smith was back at practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's workout because of a shoulder injury he suffered in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to St. Louis.
Both Smith and Maurice Morris took reps with the first-team offense in the portion of practice open to the media.
Calvin Johnson continued to show no ill effects from the right knee injury that has sidelined him for the last two games. He worked with the first-team offense and certainly looked like he'll be ready for Sunday's game in Seattle.

"We are just going to keep on taking it like we are," Johnson said. "We are going to be careful, do what I can do, and as long as I don't have any setbacks, things look brighter for Sunday."
Coach Jim Schwartz declared Smith and Johnson game-time decisions, but it appears both will be in the lineup in Seattle.
The Lions seem to be as healthy as they've been in a while. Grady Jackson was the only player that didn't practice Thursday, but that's customary for the 13-year veteran.
Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has mostly watched practice this week to rest his broken ribs, but it's expected the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback will start against Detroit.
Hasselbeck broke the ribs in a Week 2 loss to San Francisco. He missed Seattle's next three games, but has started the last three.
