Monroe County teen found dead in park; 2 held

Carleton -- Monroe County authorities are investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy whose body was dropped off in a park Saturday morning.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies were called to Ash-Carleton Park on Horan Street about 8:40 a.m. Saturday. There, investigators found Joshua Miracle, 16, dead at the scene.

Investigators obtained a description of two men and a vehicle seen leaving the park. After the description was broadcast, deputies found the car and took two suspects into custody at the Monroe County Jail on related charges.

Investigators found no signs of trauma on the body. Miracle was transported to the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office.

An autopsy has been conducted, but a cause of death has not been determined pending toxicology results, the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office said Sunday.
