Groundbreaking set for water system project
New Haven officials expect to begin replacing an aging water system in January, said Village President Jammie Kincaid. Voters last week approved a 30-year bond proposal to borrow up to $10 million for the $5.4 million project, taking advantage of a federal stimulus grant that would cover 40 percent of the costt. Kincaid said he expects the project to be complete in two years.
