2 anglers from Detroit drown in Belleville Lake

Van Buren Township -- Wayne County authorities say two Detroit men died after their fishing boat sank in Belleville Lake.

Authorities have identified the drowning victims as Fred Lewis Jr., 63, and William David McRae, 46.

A third man in the boat, Nathaniel Deck of Redford, was rescued

Police say the three men went out in a 12-foot boat Tuesday morning and the boat began taking on water.

Belleville Lake is about 25 miles west-southwest of Detroit.
