Larry Foote might join Ernie Sims on sideline vs. Vikings

Allen Park -- One of the Lions' strengths this season has been their linebacker corps.

But they could be without two starters at that position Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings and All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson. Weak side linebacker Ernie Sims is expected to miss the game with a hamstring injury, while Larry Foote, the team's middle linebacker, also sat out a second day of practice Thursday with a knee injury. His status for Sunday's game remains unknown.

Defensive end Dewayne White (toe) did return to practice Thursday. Safety Louis Delmas, who suffered a minor knee injury in last week's loss at Seattle, practiced for the second consecutive day.
