Detroit News staff reports

Don Nelson said Friday that he will honor his two-year contract with the Warriors, despite having planned to be retired now and running what he calls "a very difficult team to coach so far."

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Nelson, second on the NBA's career list with more than 1,300 wins, stormed out of practice Thursday after a dispute with guard Monta Ellis.
