MSU defeats U-M in hockey

Ann Arbor -- Daultan Levelle's third-period goal gave Michigan State a 3-2 victory Friday night over Michigan, which lost its third straight in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.

Andrew Rowe and Corey Tropp also scored for MSU (8-2-1, 5-1-1). Lee Moffie and Carl Hagelin scored for U-M (4-5, 2-3).

The win snapped a six-game skid for MSU against U-M.
