Aretha plays diva in Snickers ad

If you liked the Betty White/Abe Vigoda Snickers Super Bowl commercial, here's a treat: no less than the Queen of Soul, Detroit's Aretha Franklin, appears in the next commercial in the series, "Road Trip."
The angle of the Franklin Snickers commercial is, "You're not you when you're hungry," just as it was for the White/Vigoda ad.
In the earlier ad, White is seen to play football -- badly -- until she eats a Snickers bar and reverts to her young man "self."

The new ad has four young (and mostly male) friends in a car on a road trip, when Franklin is seen in the back seat, demanding that the air conditioning be turned up.
"Every time you get hungry you turn into a diva!" one of the friends complains.
"Oh yeah, how's that feel?" Franklin retorts, giving the guy a whack on the back of the head.
Liza Minnelli also plays a featured role in the spot.
